Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in an excellent game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the casino, unlike the majority of other poker games that players compete against other players. By betting against the dealer, new players do not have to be concerned about other, more advanced people winning their mulla.
A further Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make quick selections.
It is also much simpler to wager on for an extended time with basically a small amount of money since, to not win, each of your hands must be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the casino is dealt seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
