Phil Ivey has been labeled as the greatest poker competitor on the globe by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. He was born in Riverside, CA and moved to New Jersey before his first birthday. Phil made a decision to take his skills to the next level and moved out west to Las Vegas. He continues to play in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players on the planet. Ivey credits his success to discipline and an immeasurable love for the game of poker. He states that he’s learning every day and is very humble about his achievements. He knows he makes mistakes in each game of poker and constantly aspires to get better.
Despite the fact that Phil has won some big-time tournaments, he likes winning money games on a regular basis.
