Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the western in a wonderful game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the house, unlike most other poker games that players wager with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, new players don’t have to fret about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their cash.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game play, novices should be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make quick selections.
It is also easier to enjoy for a long time with just a tiny amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the casino gets 7 cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
