Caribbean Poker Codes and Tips

Poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous types on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer saying "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course all of the different players attain 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s first card, you need to either make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s value is on same level to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet is the face off. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pays out cash even with your original bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
