Four of Poker’s Nice Guys

Literally countless of people strive to be the next "star" in poker, but here is a short list of 4 of the more noteworthy "charming players" of poker. Even though "nice" is connected with their names when you are playing them it is "no more Mr. Nice guy" up until they have put you out of the game!

Daniel Negreanu

In 2004, his tourney payouts amounted to more than four and a half million dollars and he won two immensely admired awards in the WSOP Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine’s Competition Player of the Year. In Feb Two Thousand and Six he was named Card Player’s Favourite Poker Player. Daniel still has the decency to speak to his admirers about how they can advance their own game.

Howard Lederer

Scotty Nguyen

Scott is 1 of the busiest players in professional poker and from 2000 and Two Thousand and Four he placed in the money in well over 100 events. He’s notorious for saying "yeah baby" throughout poker games and also coined the term "that’s poker baby" when referring to a particularly bad beat. As of Two Thousand and Six, his life time winnings are just about six million dollars.

Chris Ferguson
