Poker Aces refers to two aces being dealt pre-flop. It is the strongest attainable before theflop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But despite this a large number of competitors find themselves on the losing end when given this hand.
When you’re dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t drop out pre-flop. You are positioned with the greatest achievable hand at this stage of the round. So how do you wager with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I would say definitely no to that.
Bear in mind, you’re trying to produce as much profit out of this strong position. You want to maximize the possibility. Going all-in will merely drive most competitors into folding without making a wager.
If you’re in the early spot (1st or second to place a wager), you will make a single wager. Anybody with a good hand will call, with hope a person will raise. If there has been a raise do not spring to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your course of action will be to get rid of any player that might be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise aggressively, if you are fortunate you’ll fool one player into believing that you’re bluffing.
If you’re in the center or late spot (near the last to bet) you will watch as everybody calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if you can try to avoid a show-down. Defend your hand by forcing the other players fold following the flop. If you don’t drive out your opponents you chance squandering your hand.
